GridMind asks a practical question: how can grid-relevant signals be made easier to
review before a system is under stress? The answer has to be built through evidence,
not presentation alone.

## The problem behind the project

The project explores a power-grid digital-twin and ML management-intelligence
direction for smart power systems. Its first local application uses synthetic
scenarios rather than live field data, allowing the team to make an early interface
and review workflow visible without pretending it is an operating grid system.

## What the team is building

The working direction covers research, data or signal preparation, system
architecture, implementation, testing and responsible deployment. The current
demonstration accepts scenario inputs for demand, renewable contribution, thermal
availability and network stress, then exposes illustrative net-load, generation and
stability indicators for human review.

## What has been verified

A separate local FastAPI and scikit-learn prototype now runs against deterministic
synthetic examples. Its routes and scenario behaviour have been checked locally.

## What remains unresolved

The supplied candidate repository still duplicates the CardiOath Git tree and is
not used as GridMind evidence. The prototype has no live telemetry, power-flow
calculation, dispatch authority, operational-accuracy result, safety certification
or utility deployment claim. The next accountable step is to recover the canonical
student source and establish an approved data and validation protocol.

## Why the distinction matters

A working screen, simulation or model run is evidence of progress; it is not automatically evidence of scientific validity, field reliability or production readiness. The project story will retain that distinction.

When the evidence package is complete, this draft will be revised with reviewed diagrams, team quotations, experiment findings and a public demonstration link. Until then, it remains an editorial development record rather than a published success claim.
