# Designing learning systems that adapt without losing the learner

Series: MindforgeAI Project Stories
Project: LearnSphere AI (MF-2026-02)
Editorial status: development draft; not published

## Standfirst

LearnSphere AI asks a practical question: How can adaptive learning personalise support while preserving transparency and educator control? The answer must be built through evidence, not presentation alone.

## The problem behind the project

An adaptive learning project registered under the MindforgeAI Internship 1.0 cohort. Intelligent learning platform enhancing education through adaptive AI systems. The project therefore matters less as an isolated demonstration and more as a disciplined attempt to connect a real domain need with a verifiable engineering response.

## What the team is building

The working direction covers research, data or signal preparation, system architecture, implementation, testing and responsible deployment. The final article will explain these decisions in language accessible outside the repository while preserving technical accuracy.

## What has been verified

Declared installation and two isolated API tests passed.

## What remains unresolved

Local SQLite and JWT fallback are not production-ready.

The next accountable step is: Complete JWT, CORS, storage and student-privacy review before company import.

## Why the distinction matters

A working screen, simulation or model run is evidence of progress; it is not automatically evidence of scientific validity, field reliability or production readiness. The project story will retain that distinction.

## Closing direction

When the evidence package is complete, this draft will be revised with reviewed diagrams, team quotations, experiment findings and a public demonstration link. Until then, it remains an editorial development record rather than a published success claim.
